I turn public data into answers people can actually use.
After a masters in public policy from Carnegie Mellon University, I have been a Research Analyst at Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group for the past three years, where I conduct policy research on housing and community reinvestment through an equity lens.
My work spans the full research process, from analyzing large public datasets and identifying policy trends to translating findings into dashboards, reports, public comments, and presentations for policymakers, regulators, community development organizations, and other stakeholders.
Beyond research, I directly engage with policy and advocacy. I draft public comments on federal banking regulations such as the Community Reinvestment Act and track federal, state, and local legislation. I have also testified at Pittsburgh City Council post agenda, participated in public hearings and presented research to policymakers, advocates, and other stakeholders.
Working in a small team has strengthened my ability to work proactively, manage multiple deadlines and respond to emerging policy opportunities.
I am currently seeking policy research opportunities where I can apply my quantitative, data visualization, and policy communication skills to produce accessible research that informs public policy and advances equitable outcomes.
